Circuit Rider Books offers a variety of services to meet your needs. All services are given personal attention by our dedicated staff and volunteers.
Some of our group are pastors and/or Christian Educators with library reference experience. They are available to consult with you, your church library or CE committee, or other group regarding resources that are available to meet your needs. Please call us to schedule a consultation at your site or at our headquarters. We love to talk about resources and help you find exactly what you need!!
Sometimes what you want isn't in stock. Why? In 2008 alone, an estimated 16,847 books were published about religion (Bowker). Fortunately, Circuit Rider Books can order almost any in-print title — on any subject. Just contact us, and we'll get what you want as expeditiously as we are able.
This service provides a box of books (one copy of any given title) on a specific topic or by a particular author of your choice, ready for you to pick up or shipped to your site in time for your event. All books will be priced, and order forms for your participants' use will be supplied. You are responsible for return shipping of leftover items and sales materials.

Our "Saddlebag" service provides one or more boxes of books on a specific topic, your event theme, by a particular author, or of your choice. They will be boxed, ready for you to pick up or shipped to your site in time for your event. All books will be priced, and self-service sales instructions, forms, and equipment will be provided. If a title sells out, or someone wants to order some item not supplied, your participants may use the order forms we include in our self-service checkout box to request a special order. You are responsible for return shipping of leftover items and sales materials.

One of our qualified staff will arrive at your location 2-4 hours before your event begins (or the day before, for an event beginning in the morning). They will unload our 26' truck with the help of your volunteers, and set up our rolling bookshelves and our checkout area. Our staff will act as sales clerk, maintain stock, and answer questions during your event. We keep our services open from the beginning of registration time until approximately one hour after your event closes. At longer events, we are open daily from 1/2 way through the breakfast period until 1/2 hour after the evening program begins. We may require volunteers from your group to assist our staff if your event has a large registration, or lasts several days in order to comply with federal truck driver work hour safety standards. If the book area can safely be left open, event participants are welcome to browse at any time, and they may set books aside for later purchase using our (in)famous 'sticky note system' (put your name on the top of your pile). If requested, we are able to host a book-signing party for keynote speakers and other authors present at the event whose book titles have been given to us beforehand. After the event, 2-4 hours are needed to pack up and re-load the truck, again with the help of your volunteers.

Our calendar gets filled quickly! We ask a minimum notice of six weeks to schedule a Book Display or Saddlebag. Event Bookstores should be scheduled with us as soon as you set your dates.
