All sales are final, except for merchandise that is found to be defective (misbound books, printing errors, misrecorded tapes, etc.) Defective merchandise will be replaced or payment refunded at the customer's option. Please see below for more information.

Privacy

Circuit Rider Books is committed to respecting your privacy. Therefore:

1. We will not share any information you give us without your express permission. Any information you give us to order and pay for merchandise WILL NOT be given out to anyone outside our organization.
2. From time to time we may contact you with info regarding Circuit Rider Books. If you do not wish to be contacted, please notify us and your request will be processed upon receipt. As indicated above, our contact list will not be shared with others.
3. We will not request that sensitive information be sent over internet or email except through secure, encrypted connections. We will personally contact you by telephone to obtain payment information such as credit card numbers.
4. Any credit card information you give us will be held in strict confidence within our organization. All credit card transactions will be transmitted to our bank only over secure connections. Any payment information you give us will remain only in secure transaction records once the transaction is complete, UNLESS you specifically ask us to keep your payment information (e.g. credit card number) to facilitate future orders. If you do so instruct us, your information will be kept securely within our files and only viewed by staff members actively involved in processing your order.

Pricing and Discounts

Our basic prices are publisher's or manufacturer's retail rounded to the next 25¢. This means all prices end in $0.25, $0.50, $0.75, or $0.00. Pastors, Christian educators, other church professionals, seminarians, and church libraries recieve a 20% discount on a single copy of most items. Discounts are also available on bulk orders.
 

Sale and Closeout Items

At events where we provide book tables, there are often sale and closeout items marked with a pink dot and a red slash through the price on the inventory sticker. Sale prices are usually 30-50% off our basic prices. Sale items may also be listed on our website, and are offered on a first come, first served basis. No special orders will be accepted at the sale price.
 

Return of Defective Merchandise

Defective items should be returned to us via US Mail or UPS ground service. If you call ahead, we will reserve or order a replacement to minimize your time without the resource you purchased. When your defective return is received, your replacement or refund will be sent immediately, or as soon as the replacement is received by us from the publisher or manufacturer.
 

Special Requests

We welcome special requests for items we do not have in stock. Requests may be placed by phone, fax, mail, or email. All special requests are final once we have placed an order with the publisher or manufacturer. Delivery can usually be expected in 2-4 weeks depending on publisher/manufacturer shipment to us and your choice of shipping options.
 

Payment Options

You may purchase merchandise using money order, check, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. Normally, mail order customers who do not use credit cards will find an invoice in the shipment with the merchandise. It is due upon receipt. Please forward payment by check or money order as quickly as possible. You will not receive another bill. If your invoice remains unpaid, you will receive a collection notice. We charge $5 each time we have to send such a notice.
 

State Sales/Use Taxes

We are required by state law to collect both state and local sales/use taxes on all sales held in or mailed into the states of Washington and Idaho. Out-of-state residents making purchases at our event booktables in Oregon are required by law to pay sales or use tax upon their return home, if they have not elected to have us collect and forward the tax for them. Oregon residents are exempt from sales tax at event booktables held in Washington, but must produce proof of residency at the time of the sale. Thank you for helping us comply with these state laws.
 

Bulk Orders for Groups

We welcome bulk orders of 10 or more copies of an item for group study. Whenever possible, a 10% discount will be applied to such orders. Since we seldom have larger quantities of items on hand, please allow us at least three weeks lead time to obtain sufficient quantities to meet your needs.
 

Shipping & Handling

Items that are ordered from us and not picked up at an event will be hand packed in corrugated cardboard containers prior to shipping. There is a nominal handling fee of $1.00 per shipped order. We ship packages via United States Postal Service (USPS), Media Mail rate, unless you specify upgraded service. Shipment tracking and shipping insurance are available for an additional fee.
 
Actual shipping charges will be added to each invoice. For your convenience in estimating cost, the following information is supplied:

• Media Mail: $1.33 up to 1 pound; plus 45¢ each additional pound. Delivery in 1-4 weeks, depending on your location.
• First Class/Priority: $3.95 up to 2 pounds; plus $1.25 for each additional pound. Delivery in 2-4 days nationwide.
• Express: $16.25 up to 2 pounds; plus $2.90 for each additional pound. Delivery in 1-2 days nationwide.
