We specialize in Bibles, denominational resources, children's books, and the newest books published by selected mainline protestant publishers. We often have a selection of clearance books priced at 50% off list price. We will provide special displays for your conference/event featuring books by the keynote speaker and other authors present if you provide us with appropriate information according to the timeline specified in the checklist.

Special Orders
If your participants do not find what they want, they may always place a special order with us for any book that is currently in print! Special orders take 2-6 weeks to fulfill depending on the availability of the book in a local distribution center or an East Coast publisher's warehouse. Actual shipping cost from Portland, Oregon plus a $1 handling fee per order are added to each special order. We ship via U. S. Postal Service: book rate, Priority, or Express Mail at the customer's option. UPS service is available at additional cost.
 
Space and Equipment
The best location for our book tables is near your conference registration or display area, near the refreshments/dining area, or near a high-traffic entrance.
 
For a full bookstore, we would like EIGHT 8' tables or ELEVEN 6' tables, each 3-4' wide. Some facilities now use 18" wide tables, which doubles our quantity needed.
 
For smaller displays, proportionately less space is needed.
 
We are used to being flexible and accommodating to the room space and tables available, so please contact us and we will gladly discuss available options with you.
 
We provide all table coverings, display items, signs, hand trucks, equipment, electrical cords, and the 4'x2' table(s) we use for a checkout area.
 
We need adequate lighting (it is hard to see the books in a dark hallway...) and 2 electrical outlets, one for our computerized checkout and another for listening to the music CDs.
 
Lodging and Meals
Due to the small mark-up on books and the discounts we offer to churches and pastors, we are not able to pay conference/hotel rates for lodging and meals. We pay all our travel, lodging, and meal costs enroute to and from your event. We ask your group to provide housing & meals for one Circuit Rider volunteer staff person at your event site, in a nearby motel, or in a host home.
 
Volunteers from your group
Full bookstore events are asked to provide volunteer(s) from your group who are willing to help unload & load our van ("stevedores"); display & pack books ("display clerks"); and/or assist us as "sales clerks" to make our sevices run more smoothly. This allows just one of our trained volunteers to serve your event, thus cutting the costs for both you and us. Your volunteers will be rewarded with on-site training, a fun experience, and a 20% discount on any materials they purchase during the event.
